Efficient Pellet Cooling for Mid-Scale Production
The C12 Pellet Cooler is commonly used to cool pellets at production rates of 6 to 12 tons per hour, depending on pellet size, density, temperature, and material composition. The unit includes a 1900 x 1900 mm cooling grid with an estimated dwell time of 10 to 15 minutes, allowing pellets to stabilize before downstream handling or packaging.
The unit shown features the optional top-installed rotary airlock and discharge bin for controlled material flow and system integration. The C12 works alongside CME’s pelletizing equipment to support efficient pellet production and processing systems.
Common applications include cooling pellets, plastics, roasted grains, cubes, and expeller-pressed meals.
